I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. The location was great, near the beach and surrounded by natural beauty, but the rooms were outdated and uncomfortable. The service was friendly but somewhat slow at times. The dining options were subpar, with room for improvement, and the facilities were decent overall.
The hotel room was exactly as pictured on the website, very nice with an outstanding view, comfortable bed, and cleanliness. However, the noise from the kitchen extractor fans outside was quite disruptive. The complimentary mini bar and chocolates were a lovely touch.
If you're looking to treat yourself, this hotel is a great option with luxurious rooms and top-notch service. However, the general atmosphere of the rooms could use some brightening up. The location offers stunning views of the Saunton Sands and Braunton Burrows, but there are some areas that need improvement.
